1. Sale and Purchase of Goods
SVK Silks (“Seller”) hereby agrees to sell, and you (“Buyer”) hereby agree to purchase silk sarees and related products of the description and quantity described on the checkout page (“Checkout”) and incorporated herein by reference (“Goods”), subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
2. Purchase Price
Buyer agrees to pay the purchase price of the Goods as displayed on this website at the time of placing the order.
3. Payment Terms
The total purchase price shall be payable in full by the Buyer according to the payment method selected at Checkout.
In the event of non-payment or payment disputes, Seller reserves the right to pursue all remedies available under applicable law. Buyer agrees to reimburse Seller for any costs of collection, including legal fees and related expenses, where permitted by law.
4. Delivery
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery shall be made in accordance with Seller’s shipping policy in effect on the date of shipment.
Delivery dates provided are estimates only. While we make reasonable efforts to deliver orders on time, SVK Silks shall not be liable for delays caused by courier partners, customs procedures, natural events, or other factors beyond our control.
Goods shall be packaged according to Seller’s standard practices.
5. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For international orders, the recipient is responsible for ensuring that the product can be lawfully imported into the destination country.
The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the destination country. International shipments may be subject to import duties, customs fees, local taxes, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are not controlled by SVK Silks and must be borne by the recipient. Delays may occur due to customs clearance procedures.
The recipient may be required to provide identification documents such as tax ID, address proof, or other documents as required by customs authorities.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty / Limitation of Liability
Seller makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Goods, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except as required under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SVK Silks (including its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to the purchase or use of the Goods.
In no event shall Seller’s total liability exceed the net purchase price actually paid by the Buyer for the Goods delivered.
Seller disclaims any responsibility for intellectual property infringement claims arising from misuse or unauthorized use of the Goods.
7. Colour Disclaimer
Product colours displayed on your screen may vary slightly from the actual product due to differences in screen resolution, monitor calibration, lighting conditions during photography, and fabric dye variations.
Such colour variations shall not be considered defects.
8. Force Majeure
Seller shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, strikes, supply shortages, transportation disruptions, or acts of God.
9. General
- Buyer may not assign this Agreement without Seller’s written consent.
- This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Buyer and Seller.
- Any additional terms proposed by Buyer shall be void unless expressly accepted in writing by Seller.
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid.
- This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Andhra Pradesh, India, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Andhra Pradesh.
